This is an EXCELLENT yoga class. Everything is very well organized and the class is located in a quaint outdoor park in a residential area at the base of a beautiful mountain in Boulder. Maria does a great job at diversifying the poses offered at each class and providing plenty of modifications to suit your level whether you’re trying out yoga for the first time or are a lifelong yogi. This was the highlight of my multi-week trip to the area and I will 100% be back if I’m ever passing through again. If you’re thinking of trying this class, do it! 🙂 Plus, the donation based system is so helpful and makes the experience accessible to anyone, regardless of their financial standing. Thank you Maria for a wonderful experience!

Maria curates a sanctuary for us each week under the shade of a mature oak at Martin Park. She is one of the least pretentious & most humble teachers I have had the privilege to work with. She is welcoming to people of all experience levels, and all shapes and sizes. She presents her students with optional modifications for poses and plays soothing background music at just the right volume. She is a flexible and accommodating businesswoman with everything from payment amount, payment method, registering for classes to props/mats for yoga. It’s impossible to not like Maria, so even if you’re iffy on yoga, maybe give this offering a try just for the opportunity to relax in nature and meet new people!
